Massachusetts EMT

Being an EMT in Massachusetts is more rewarding than ever before. Jobs are opening up at a rapid pace as the population grows and more seniors are coming of age. In the largest cities, like Boston, Worcester, Springfield, Lowell, and Cambridge, new hiring is expected to be off the charts. While the national labor office is predicting an increase of about 20% nationwide in EMT positions, the jobs available in Massachusetts are expected to grow at an even faster pace. Contribution to the hiring boom is the gradual envelopment of communities with volunteer forces by incorporated cities and townships that include paid EMT staffers.
